After graduation, I briefly attended VCU before moving to St. Louis, MO, where I received my degree and became a Registered Nurse. I married my husband Gregory, a National Park Service Ranger, in 2002, and worked as a pediatric cardiac/transplant nurse at St. Louis Children's Hospital. In February 2006, our son Grant was born. In 2007, we relocated to northern VA where I am working part-time at a local hopsital on the pediatric unit. We are expecting our second child in March.
